Jerome is an accomplished composer, performer and teacher. He has worked on film scores, worked in studios with the likes of Treach from Naughty by Nature, produced solo artists and created his own group called Jersey Fresh which is currently signed with Tunecore Records. Recently Jerome received his certification in teaching music and is working at the Camden County vocational school. Here is what Jerome has to say about his time at Big Beat. "In the time I have spent at Big Beat Music Studio in Neptune, NJ, I have taught private lessons in guitar, piano, vocals and saxophone as well as conducting jazz and rock ensembles. There I have succeeded in teaching children as young as four through adults. I also have experience with developmentally disabled students. I have many varied responsibilities at Big Beat which include preparing students for showcases and auditions as well as preparing ensembles for performances at venues in the community. My teaching style involves giving my students a solid understanding of theory and the ability to read music fluently while involving other areas including aural training, composition and recording technology."
