Outdoor Barbeque Bash/Jam at Big Beat Music Studio held on Sunday August 24 featured students and teachers performing for friends and family. 

The jam featured Big Beat Music Studio’s Summer Rock Ensemble led by Jerry D’Agostino (Big Beat instructor) and several student soloists. Our newest teacher and local favorite Doug Mikula also performed (Doug’s musical accomplishments include a nomination for the 48^th Annual Grammy Awards). Big Beat Music Studio’s ensemble participates in a 10-week program designed to help each student experience the feeling of performing in a band, develop confidence, and foster leadership ability. This program is a regular offering each year, encouraging students to break out of their comfort zone, interact with other musicians, and become polished performers.
